Still here…
My wits are still here…researching and putting together new posts. Also, I’ve been finishing that novel from my November writing month. Stormed through some personal engagements over weekend, and a funeral on Monday, but returning to normal…well, as normal as I can be, today. Sometimes I feel like Red in the picture above. Ya’ll know what I mean? Thanks SB for the concern, and to anyone else wondering where I’ve been. It is lovely to be missed.
Hey Jenn,
I’m sorry….I hope things get better for you quick. I’ll wait for your email back to talk more okay?
Love, Lis
Sorry to hear about the funeral, Jenn. Glad you are still around and okay.
You are loved.
All is fine…thank you. I don’t know about you, but our funerals, especially when they are for our really elderly uncles or aunts (he was 94), end up being like family reunions. So even though it was a sad day…we sort of had a good time. Doesn’t that sound terrible?? I almost feel guilty writing it. Anyway, great memories were shared.
Thanks again, I’m still around…
Jenn,
Sounds like my dad’s side of the family–they make each other laugh and the first time I thought maybe they should be more bummed out but really, we don’t see each other that much and they enjoy talking to each other. The last one I went to the pastor sang “That’s Life” (the Sinatra song, which my uncle liked) – with a karaoke machine, it was so funny. I don’t know if you know the words, if not, google them and you’ll see why it was so funny. My great uncle had a terrific sense of humor and I thought it was so cool that he didn’t want anyone to be bummed out. Hope the story made you smile.
Love, Lis
